Tiny but sits really well on my desk. I tried using Parallels on my minimac but it was like swimming in treacle so bought this Lenovo to do the things a Mac can't. VERY pleased.

Bought to replace aged and broken home desktop PC - sits next to TV, connects via HDMI. Connections wise are very useful,HDMI, digital sound, USB and USB3.0 amongst others. Bought to play media on TV and for music collections and browsing and it does all admirably. Handles playback of HD material fine (onto 32inch 1080 LCD TV).
Just make sure that you enable graphics card acceleration or it will have problems. My only gripe with it is that the wi fi does not seem reliable at all - ended up cabling it, still not worthy of a minus star IMO as it may just be me! Overall if your after a sleek compact media player then go for it, high end graphics i would recomend a bespoke desktop PC.

I bought this to replace an old tower - we had just got satellite connectivity after living for 4 years without internet in the house. Once online it was obvious the tower was too long in the tooth, so I looked for a replacement to use in the very small study - I use a laptop much of the time but need a PC as well as my wife needs a really big screen to be able to see.

I looked for something as small as possible as space is pretty limited - I had no idea such neat machines were available, and it's great, I hung it behind the monitor so it effectively takes up no space at all. Despite what I see another reviewer said, it boots up quickly, is blessedly quiet and streams video no problem at all. And it wasn't expensive.

One drawback is the lack of a disc drive (as I didn't opt for the version with a drive), but as I don't often need one I find that a separate drive that I plug in when I need it is no problem, and it does keep the size of the thing down to the minimum.

So far I am really pleased with it, and am even considering buying another to hang on the back of the TV in the living room.

I purchased the Lenovo Q180 to use as a media player on my TV for my networked attached storage device. After 2 weeks of use it has proved absolutely ideal for this purpose. The Lenovo Q180 is linked to the TV via a HDMI cable and linked to the network by a power line adapter providing ample network bandwidth. Playback of video and audio is high quality with the flexibility of using you're preferred player. The Lenovo is quiet and unobtrusive next to the TV. It's also great for general computer use with the TV.

I wanted a small desk top computer and this is it. Unfortunately, I am not very technical so I am unable to enlarge on what it can or can't do. However, it is very easy to use and I have had no problems getting used to a new computer. It does everything I need it to do. It also has several USB ports so it's possible to plug plenty if other equipment in. If you need to download anything from a disc you will need another gadget. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small desk top.

I Purchased the Lenovo Q180 for a Xmas present 2012 , When I Started to set it up the first thing i noticed was the DVD/CD drive "DID NOT" accept any DVD/CD devises, I tried 5 or 6 times by rebooting and still the CD drive did not work, The quality of film playback leaves a lot to be desired, Ive had to send it back and the return policy says I may have to wait 4 weeks for a refund, That's not good as it was meant to be a Xmas present.

I use this machine for my office and so far it runs suprisingly smooth, it makes almost no noise at all and it serves me well for everything i need inmy office from printing invoices to formal letters, and for every other job.

So far i have connected to it another of devices with no issueQ including a laser printer, a scanner, a signature processor, an external tv tuner card

Due to its really small size it's almost unnoticeable sitting behind the screen and it really helps to free up some desk space.

I would recomend it to anyone its an excellent bargain for the price. U get a full featured desktop computer for the price of Nettop

This review is from: Lenovo Q180 Ultra Small Form Factor (USFF) Desktop PC - Black (Intel Atom D2550 1.86GHz, 4Gb RAM, 750Gb HDD, Bluray, LAN, WLAN, AMD Graphics, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) (Personal Computers)
I wanted this as a HTPC so I bought the version with a Bluray drive - this is what I have based my review on.

I was hoping this would replace the Bluray player and Western Digital TV Live Streaming Media Player which streams video and music from my NAS via wired LAN. When I watched webstreams I hook my laptop up to my TV via HDMI so I was expecting this PC to save me from having to do this too (my wife uses our laptop quite a bit).

I received this and loaded XBMC to stream the video and music. I found the streaming picture quality to be poor. I compared it to he video quality from the WD Live player (which is much cheaper) and the picture from the Lenovo was poorer for sure. Darker, not as clear.
-1 for the Lenovo for this function.

Music streaming using XBMC is fine.

Streaming video from the web via the laptop provided a clearer picture and less stuttering than streaming the same video via the Lenovo.
-1 for the Lenovo.

The PC is quite slow to boot up.
-1 for the Lenovo.

The first disc I put in the drive got stuck and I haven't been able to get the disc out. I have sent it back to Amazon with this disc stuck in the drive.
-1 for the Lenovo

Amazon lists the N5602 remote as optional but it came as standard with my package. A great remote imo.

Perhaps I was expecting too much from the Lenovo but it has been a let down for me. I think 'll stay clear of HTPCs for now.
