when you buy one of these first buy a sandisk ultra 32gig micro sd card , with it you will get a qr bar code which is a great product and shows all your memory even cloud storage and facebook stored photos and videos and performs a speed test , i have had my joypad since xmas and its ace 48 gig storage with ultra card and i have 120 gig of free online storage ,, more than i will need , the apps all run great ,, heard a lot of bad reviews about battery life , well either i got the best made or reviews wrote by idiots my battery lasts all day , there are some great apps that work well together like a free movie site and a video player app what will download the films when played through it ,, all in all a great buy , made well weights the same as i pad and all the same dimensions, face lock brilliant , bluetooth keyboard i got with it is a must acts as hard case as well best £200 spent im really well pleased with it ,, buy one

I bought this product last year, as the specs were better than most for the price at the time (it was around £150). When it arrived I was slightly disappointed as it was a bit slower and more sluggish than I would have expected, but it wasn't too bad so I just left it. A couple of months later (with low to moderate use) it would constantly crash, and would have to be reset by pushing a needle into the reset hole. Pretty much unusable now. Also when it did work, you can't use it whilst it's charging.

bought this two weeks ago as thought iPad too pricey for my needs. connected easily, works very well so far after initial technical hitch. soon sorted via online technical support from maker. camera isn't great but I don't think that is the main purpose, not for me at least.

This item was bought as an Xmas gift from my grandson. I fully charged it ready for him on Xmas morning, but it went off within 10 minites of him unwrapping it. He put it back on charge until the red light went out, but could not then turn it on. I will be returning the item for a full refund.

My first impression was the quality look about it nice alloy finish to the case and the thinness of the tablet
it looked more expensive than it actually was ,
Unfortunately after giving it a trial to see it was ok as it was my sons xmas present it went dead
and i could not get it to start up ,even after going through all the possible reasons i could think of
i am so sorry but i wish a replacement to be sent because i think it is a good product and my son
will be delighted to use it

i was very dissapointed with this tablet as soon as i got it it looked fab once i got it all st up and downloaded apps for the kids i was testing it ;) but soon realised it was not working properly it kept on kicking me out play store and when i tried to go on to an app it pressed the back buttton insted was very frustrated with this and didnt have enough time to send back for A refund. my kids were upset by this item i would NOT RECOMEND U BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! complete waist of money

My wife always wanted a tablet and after doing research she purchased the 9.7 Joytab with keyboard. A month later it is functionig so well that I have lost my wife to the world of technology. THE TABLE HANDLES E-MAIL, STORES PHOTOGRAPHS,TAKES GOOD QUALITY PHOTOGRAPHS, DOWNLOADS E-BOOKS, SURFS THE NET, HANDLES GAMES all on a colourful screen at half the price of the market leader. The keyboard doubles as a good study screen protector and over all the tablet is worth £150, which is the cheapest one can buy it for. Only flaws at the moment is the sound quality is tinny but with earphones the sound improves dramatically and it is not the top brand name. All in all "a good piece of kit" as they would say on the Gadget Show.

I purchased this item from another supplier, however I feel that I should share my thoughts on this product.
Purcahsed as a bundle, with bluetooth keyboard,it took 8 days to arrive. Had to charge for 8 hours before using and it advises that it is not used while charging. This product is far to heavy to hold for more than a few seconds (like a brick) and when it is the holder on the keyboard the angle is all wrong and you get glare on it. Could not log onto google play to download apps as an error message keeps saying "connection timed out". When I did manage to log on, I found this also to be very slow when downloading and also the screen was not all that responsive (lots of juddering). All in all a very poor purchase. We are now waiting for a courier to collect and take it back before the 14 days run's out and we are then out of pocket.
We have since purchased the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 16gb, just wish we had purchased this before, instead of wasting time with the Joypad.

I find Android in general a little unsophisticated and for me will never replace the PC and Windows. All I really require from a Tablet is to access the internet, play music and play movies. It does none of these things perfectly. There is no point in going into detail since this seems to be common to all Android devices. I thought in my ignorance that the latest version of Android would be more reliable and support more formats ... this is not the case in my usage of the device. The biggest problems that I have is that it keeps rebooting or turning off for no apparrant reason and then next time will be ok. BBC iPlayer does not work and it does not play Flash files. It decides how it wants to play my music and I am unable to bend it to my will so it plays what I want ... but to it's credit it is cheap and I live with it's failings for that reason only.
