Very pleased that I purchased this laptop. I decided to go for the i5 for 4p more than the Pentium. The laptop is shockingly fast it boots within less than 10 seconds and is very responsive.

The one thing that does bug me a little bit is the "gestures" on the touch pad one minute your typing and suddenly because you catch the touch pad it seems to switch to the start screen?!

UPDATE RE TOUCHPAD: It was actually me moving it to the corner making it go to the start screen so there is not actually an issue to make life a little easier I decided to get a wireless mouse which is more comfortable.

Overall very good machine very well priced and excellent service from Amazon as always ordered xmas day said it would not arrive until Friday 28th But arrived on Thursday 27th

I am a professional writer and my computers always get a good use out of me. Within the warranty period of an earlier model of the Pavilion g6 some of the characters had come off the keyboard, and I also had a problem with the screen - probably from intensive opening and closing. I got directly in touch with the manufacturer and they replaced them without a quibble. When it eventually reaches its end of life with me I will probably buy the latest model of the same computer. For just under £400 it is the best value computer I have ever bought.

well I have had a few laptops but wish I had gone for hp the first time. just love it fast battory lot better than any I have had be for yes go buy one thats what I say x
