Not as fast as described, but good for the price. Gets stuck from time to time, but does the job.

I was interested to get an Ipad or something similar when a good friend bought a Samsung version back in the summer.I am not one for many modern gadgets. I am one of those people that still only use a mobile phone for quick calls and emergencies. I get annoyed with people who spend their whole life texting rubbish. None the less I decided that I could use some kind of a computer access while away on holiday to keep up to date with E mails and messages.I also did not want to spend an exhorbitant sum of money on something that i thought I would only use on high days and HOLIDAYS!After studying all options on Amazon I decided on the Go TabGBT104R 10 inch tablet. I was fortunate to buy mine through Amazon for the bargain sum of £107 - A fraction of the Samsung or Ipad versions.I am completely blown away with this product. I have fitted an extra 16gb SD card giving me a total of 20gb I believe plenty of power for what i need. It is so touch sensitive which took me a little while to get used to. I found that because I use a desktop and keyboard at home I was bashing it far to hard. . I have discovered that by holding it at lap level you can easily manouevre with both thumbs comfortably. It is without a doubt the best small piece of Technology I have ever purchased.The problem is that as I use it more and more I feel I am becoming one of these annoying people who can not put it down and carry it everywhere with me.

GoTab GBT1040R 10 inch Tablet (ARM Fast Processor 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM DDR3, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich) Bought for me as a gift so no receipt to return. I am a long term iphone and laptop user. This is bloody awful! Screen flickers in white background constantly, decides to "go mad" and do what it wants including downloading apps I haven't requested. The GoTab setup and help files are worse than useless (seem to be empty), the technical support in Shropshire only open 9 to 5 weekdays and their stock answer to problems is "send it back for repair" IT'S BRAND NEW! What happened to The Sale of Goods Act? Settings installed for 3G but "support" says "it's a new product so doesn't work with dongles! I could go on, but this product is naff and at twice the price of other products with similar spec's I'd definately look elsewhere!

Bought this in Sept 2012 for my daughters 8th birthday on October 5th, and have already had to have the mains charger replaced once, then today 5th Nov 2012 I have had to contact them again as the tablet is not charging.Apart from this the gotab has everything my daughter wanted from a tablet,camera, apps, music,internet browsing & expandable memory. It was easy to set up the wi fi and was a good price and looks good,such a shame there is charger issues, if it wasn't for that I would of given it a 5* rating.

the GoTab is very good for someone who does not want to spend a fortune to buy a tablet for basic use. Despite it's low price, the quality of the product is very good, and does not give any indication of "cheap" material. The rubber-like back is very comfortable to hold.

Memory and internal space are adequate, but the system is slightly lacking on the CPU side.

Also the screen sometimes seems to lose contact, resulting in selection of an item instead of continuous scrolling.

All in all, a good buy.

GoTab GBT1040R 10 inch Tablet (ARM Fast Processor 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM DDR3, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich).I purchased 2 of these tablets they did not work (charger problems ) I sent them back to Ergo as instructed, they came back still did not work, but with a new charger lead that was so big it did not fit in the original box they sent it back by separate courier, this was a present can you imagine giving a present when you could not close the box or gift wrapping the charger separately so you could close the box, the decision is yours my friend, tread carefully Id say.

had a replacement when i switched the tablet on, there was only a white screen with blue lines.

"white screen of death". it shows these models are all faulty. how is it possible to have 2nd tablet faulty within 2 days.

iam not pleased with the service and the items, or electrical products from this company.

i think i should save up and go for another type of product.

I came across the GoTab while searching Amazon for a good, budget tablet to use for university. Compared prices elsewhere and ended up buying from here.
Today the tablet was delivered, I opened it to find the box in bad condition, leading me to think it had previously been opened and returned. My theory was further backed up when i opened it, as it had marks on the back of the tablet and the screen sheet was all bubbly and had definitely been placed on wrong.

As for the tablet, the so called 'multi touch display' is the worst thing I have ever used. I literally used the tablet for about 30 seconds before deciding to send it back. You cannot scroll with ease or without it thinking you've clicked on something, and to type on, well, it is virtually impossible; certainly not what I had in mind for typing fast in lectures.

The only positive is I don't have to pay to send it back!

Avoid avoid avoid!!!
