I have found this lap top to crash several times since having it....It is slow and I thought it would be faster than my old one. I'm not sure what to do about it. I am house bound and disabled and my laptop is the only thing that keeps me going. I don't know what to do about this...call me stupid...I feel stupid and duped

Recently purchased this hp computer and i wish i never bothered as it keeps breaking down (3 times). HP are not good as they used to be and their products are poor in quality and so is there very poor customer service. HP is a dieing brand. Buy Assus or Lenovo instead or if you have the money get a Apple.

The Laptop arrived in good time, it was easy to set up & helpful in transfering data from the old machine. Initially we were unable to use the @ symbol as the shift key was not working, constant pressing helped & it's now much better - a google search found that the keyboard has caused others similar problems.

I am really pleased with this laptop, which is excellent value for money (£319.00). For anyone who is thinking of buying a laptop, I would definitely recommend this one. I would also recommend that they buy the laptop from Amazon, mine came within a couple of days of ordering the laptop.

The laptop which was well packaged, was delivered by a courier service. I was able to use the laptop offline, within minutes of opening the package. I wasn't able to get online straight away, but that wasn't the fault of the laptop, it was because I didn't have the correct security number and my desktop wasn't wireless.

My internet provider (TalkTalk) gave me step by step instructions, on how to get my desktop wireless. Once this happened I was able to set up my laptop to go online.

I also bought an optical mouse, to use with the laptop, which I find easier than using the built in mouse on the laptop.

I bought this laptop a few weeks ago, so time will tell as to whether it will last and pay its worth. However plus points so far are the price is quite good (I've noticed a lot of competitors selling this laptop at a higher price and with a lower spec than this amazon one!!), it was delivered in excellent condition,runs quite fast, has a lot of memory and doesn't get as hot as my old HP. The screen size is big and actually quite wide, perfect for movies, and it has a nice stylish glossy finish. Slight downpoints include all the pre loaded HP software and hundreds of updates (you can get rid of this), that is only comes with a 2 month free subscription to norton, and is a dvd rom.
