Having got fed up with a compuer wit a Vista operating system, and unable to find the fault. I decided to seek out a new computer. I saw an ideal one being advertised by a leading retailer, travelled 15 miles only to find the only one they had was a display model, wit no discount offered I left, and again looked.I decided the H.P. pavillion P6 fitted the bill. Decent hard drive, 8gb ram, all this and other specs fitting the bill. The only reservation was graphics. I was not sure how good this would be. I play Knights of the old republic, and W.O.W. on my old machine this could be somewhat laggy.
Finally I decided to purchase, and placed the order, deciding it was easy to replace a graphics card.
This machine is quiet, Easy to set up, and transfer files. Some included software is perhaps questionable. Not before you agree to access do you find out what the program is. but you can remove it later.
The worry about the graphics was unfounded, It worked on Knights of the old republic, without any lag.
I would say to anyone, who does not want to pay for top of the range, go for this.

I think it's a great machine. It's just unfortunate that it only accomodates one internal hard drive. I guess 2TB is more than okay for most people. Graphics are great, I basically needed a computer for Cpmputer Aided Design,HD and 3D movies and gaming from time to time. It exceeded all expectations. I recommend the HP Pavilion p6-2071uk for whoever wants to get a desktop.

More than pleased with this product all expectations succeded,a good all round Desktop, plenty of storeage for future use etc my only grip is Windows 7 is preinstalled I would have prefered to have downloaded it myself and had a disc if ever needed,I would say this was a must for the Company to supply this for future purchasers,or even state this in there spefication so that people are aware what they are getting, I'm sure they would sell more if this was specifyed.
I would have given 5 Stars if the Disc was included.maybe the company after reading this might send me one FOC,then I could give the last Star.
