I'm very happy with this purchase. I bought mine from Sainsbury's using my store discount.I will highlight the only negative. every review I have seen has highlighted the same issue, that's with the mouse click-pad. It's a single button with both right and left click ability, but it's far to stiff. I'm happy to say after having this laptop for 3 weeks, the button has softened up a little & is easier to press. The touch pad however is a different story, very responsive & very large & the right click tap works perfectly on there. It also has a scroll feature on the right hand side.
It's very fast, boot up takes less than 30 seconds. Boot up from stand by takes 5 seconds maximum. 3GB RAM is more than enough for most takes, it takes on multiple windows easily, including the power sapping itunes.
On the matter of power, the battery life is very good. It boasts up to 3 hours & I actually managed almost 4 hours on Power saver.
Webcam isn't brilliant, but it works, the design is fantastic, I love the matte black finish with the sort of cross hatch texture of the inside plastic. The laptop has quick access buttons too, such as Mail, Internet, Calculator, quick print & media player.
With most laptops you'd have to press the Fn key to access alternative actions (function key), with this one you don't need to, along the top of the keyboard, the F keys are accessed by "fn" so you can change bightness, sound, turn wifi on or off and control your media player functions without being on the window. (Play/Pause, Stop, next, previous) It works with Spotify, Windows Media Player & iTunes.
I give this laptop a strong 95% with the only fault being the mouse left & right click (but I imagine in another two weeks it'll be fine)

A brilliant laptop, loads and shuts down very quickly, BUT the mouse-pad key bar is so stiff I have to use a separate mouse to avoid pains in the ends of my fingers. This is a VERY badly designed single tilt bar that is far too stiff. I'd not buy any laptop with this feature again.
