Quality/Design:There definitely are better build laptops out there (MacBook Pro, Asus n56) but quality is more than adequate
I love the design very sleek and while 15 inch it doesn't feel too big
The DVD/CD tray does feel a bit flimsy though.
Power:
with a i7 3rd gen and ati radeon 7670 i don't think there is anything to complain, powerful enough to run the latest games but don't expect full detail gameplay(for that buy either a gamer desktop/laptop)
Specs
6 gb ddr3 1600mhz memory is all you need
750gb hdd again for my needs more than enough
Overall a great all rounder for the price!
Update:
Although the laptop works great i noticed scratches along the glossy bit around the laptop which i definitely did not cause and so i sent it back for a replacement which i received just today and it is in a similar condition.
It it nothing too bad but as you can understand this is definately something you do not expect when pulling a brand new laptop out of the box.
I won't bother sending it back for a third replacement as the laptop works great but this does not reflect well on Toshiba.
To be fair though it still looks great and its one hell of a performer for the price

awaiting patiently for ariival of this laptop that is well specifed and keenly priced and hope it lives up to the expectations i am expecting ie great processor performance etc i have purchased this to replace a desktop pc and i am already looking at may be installing extra ram and replacing the dvd drive with a internal bluray writer will up date this review when i have the laptop at the moment i will rate this with three starsafter this laptop could not be delivered and no date available for delivery i cancelled the order and purchased a toshiba p850 there were problems with the toshiba hard drive problem screen problem and touch pad problem all on different machines that had been exchanged so after the third exchange i then opted for some thing different a asus n56v this is a excellent machine and i am very happy with this at the moment you cannot purchase this from amazon ps i am very dissapionted by toshiba and the problems i have had and would advise to be careful if purchasing a toshiba after the three laptops all with different faults i had
