To give you a bit of background info, I have been researching laptops for months and finally made the decision to plump for this one. My previous Laptop was a 13.3inch sony vaio from 2007 and was showing its age.Without being a professional reviewer, i can say that I am happy with the look, feel, and performance. The ONLY issue that I am experiencing is the annoying spacebar - there seems to be a small dead area at the bottom centre and am constantly having to back track to re-enter spaces. I sent the 1st one back amazon thinking it was a build fault, but the 2nd one that i have suffers from a similar problem although not as severe (although still slightly irritating). This reason alone I had to deduct a star. I would still recommend this pc, as even now I have trained myself mentally to strike the spacebar in a manor to ensure a stroke.
Time will tell if the battery lives up to the advertised 9 hour, i have only had 5 hours out of it yet but only charged it twice.
It is fast, that i5 certainly pulls no puches.
I have read on other "professional" reviews that the speakers are poor, but compared to my old sony, they are fantastic.
One complaint I have with Acer is that they do not give any instructions of how to charge/use the pc for the 1st time and having powered the machine on, looked in the PDF guide it states to fully charge it prior to turning it on to maximise battery life. Pretty poor that this isnt advised in the printed "Quick Guide".

I just bought this computer and am so far very pleased with it. It is very fast and never has browsing on the net been so easy for me. The graphic card is great as well and so it the sound system. I am slightly annoyed by the fact that the touch pad is centred towards the left rather than in the middle. The main part of the keyboard is also centred towards the left because of the number-keys on the right resembling a keyboard for a desktop computer. Meaning that when you write and are browsing, you more or less only use the left side of the computer - which to me is a bit annoying and not super comfortable. However I shouldn't complain - I was aware of this before I bought it.The keyboard buttons are a bit different from the ones found on most other computers- I actually find the buttons on this computer much more comfortable.
The computer is not super light- slightly on the heavy side. However I assume this mainly is due to the very long lasting battery.
The only problem I have encountered so far is that when I am watching videos on Youtube, I need to pause the video before clicking the 'full screen' button. If I don't pause it first, the picture becomes completely distorted.
I would however strongly recommend this computer. I am overall very pleased with it.

good delivery speed, but more importantly amazing product, i decided to buy a like new one instead as it saved plus £200 and when it came i was happy to see it literally looked brand new, all except for the broken seal on the box so i was very happy. The supplier was also kind enough to supply a notebook fan with the product which has come in handy as i have been playing games like left 4 dead 2 for extended periods of time. The laptop works very well with games, it will run all the new games on full settings and the battery will last a good few hours during so it is very handy. Anyone thinking about buying a multipurpose laptop to replace a desktop should definitely get this machine, especially if they are looking for a fairly inexpensive laptop which can play demanding games. Thanks again to the supplier, i have had the pc for a week now and it's been wprking perfectly :). What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
