I had been looking for a hybrid drive laptop for some time but till now ! none I had seen had the second gen.momentus drive in it.It was well worth the wait.Once I had set set it up. the boot time, in that I mean it was ready to use in about 30 sec. providing no updates are being preformed! each time it is switched on. So that small bit of SSD realy does help.

It is so good to press a key and not have to wait for ever for something to happen.I
know it is not cheap. if you think what i paid for my first pc 15 + years ogo £1700 It's not that bad
it has great speakers that go up to a very high vol. Screen is large crisp and clear. A good thing that is pre installed is WiDi.
I had not heard about before. it allows a wireless connection to the TV to show not just media ie pictures vids. but the desktop. Even if you have an internet tv to use say iplayer can be a real pain to preform a search via remote control. With WiDi you have the keyboard.
To use WiDi you have to buy a small box that plugs into hdmi of tv it could be hidden. there are 3 makes avialible they are not cheap new, but you can find them secondhand well reduced When they have been bought by poeple who do not have i3. i5 or i7 processors pc as they only work with them! pictures are a full 1080p on my one,but watch out there are lessor ones out there.
This Is my first Tosh. computer and i am enjoying it, but there is so much more yet for me to explore

*Purchased this item, The first arrived factory dmanged, the housing underneath the laptop was not in place correctly. The replacement was also faulty, the case was live and gave me a small electric shock. Item was purchased from amazon, who's customer service were excellent. Amazon took the whole batch off of sale to investigate the quality control issue. I have never previously had issues with toshiba laptops before, and having had two new ones that both arrived poorly made, or faulty, have now changed brands. This laptop is highly spec'd but as both arrived faulty, i can not give any comment on its functionality at all. Its possible this model is being made in small batches, in any event, there was in my case a serious quality control issue, as both were purchased new and faulty out the box.I have now spent more and purchased an Alienware laptop. As stated above, amazon's customer service were quick to initially dispatch a replacement, and then to process a refund for the second confirmed faulty system.

It is great and nice in programing ang designing houses big , broad and clear screen but the price abit hight could be less for the last item What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
