This is a very quiet, and fast PC - I thought it was very good value considering it has the i7 3770 processor, a big disk and plenty of RAM for my needs. I really like how quiet it is. It is true that it does not mention in the description that DVI is the only monitor connection it has. I have a Samsung DVI/HDMI/analogue monitor so it was not a problem for me.

I'd give it 5 stars except for the fact that the wireless mouse and keyboard supplied didn't suit me. I've gone back to the wired ones from my old Dell and the old keyboard is much more sensitive and the mouse works properly. The scroll wheel did not work on the mouse supplied and I was unable to find a fix - might be a win7 64 bit problem?

Anyway overall this is the best desktop pc I have ever had by a distance so if it suits your setup I would definitely recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE - NO VGA or HDMI Ports, 28 Sep 2012

Just unpacked this new and certainly not cheap PC and am dismayed to find that I can't set it up because it has no VGA port for my monitor to connect to. It has only 2 DVI ports, one for the display (monitor) and one for an HDMI output to a TV. Both of them need adaptors before I can connect to them, and HP do not supply them with the unit. So I've now got to go out and find somewhere to buy these adaptors before I can use the PC.

I am disgusted with HP for being so tight - the adaptors would cost them pennies to provide. I did speak to a guy in HP Customer Service about this and his response was that I should have checked the specs before buying - I told him that the specs I check are things like Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, USB Ports etc. but that it wouldn't occur to me to check that the blasted thing could connect to a monitor ! He was rude and unhelpful and convinced me never to buy another HP product.
