Acer was a product type recommended by daughter & I agree with her,quality & good value.

The desktop PC does all that is required, is quiet, fast when uploading & very efficient, excellent colour definition.

I brought this after buying a 40inch HD TV and my laptop started to show signs of wear and tear. Suffice to say I now use this Acer desktop set up all the time. It's a good little number with easy set up and thus far no bugs or quirks. Of course the more expensive model offers a higher disc capacity, but if like me you put most downloads onto an external hard-drive anyway, the capacity on this computer more than suffices. My only quibble is that I wish Acer supplies a mouse without a wire!

Although it is a good, slim, computer. The DVD/RW Drive would not read DVDs. I bought another equivalent type of DVD/RW Drive at a cost of £24:99 and fitted it myself within minutes.

Everything works fine now, trouble is, the warranty is now ended, as I did the work myself, so somewhere along the line of manufacture to me, this item had to be dropped or mishandled badly, this is why it is only three star.
