small form factor, cheap, performs well. casing looks a bit fragile and design of usb socket cover at base of case could be a lot better - but i guess you get what you pay for

Neat PC, small footprint, great value for money package, up and running in less than half an hour, does what it says on the box. Would have given it five stars, but the 'bloat-ware' supplied pre-loaded on the hard drive is irritating.

I am very pleased with the Acer Aspire X1930.Great price. I turned it on, everything worked well, internet,sound etc.It is very fast, it does all that I want.Only negative is all the trial and bloatware software that came pre-installed.But EVERY PC and laptop from ALL the makers does that.It is how they can keep there prices low.What you don't need, it's easy to delete.I have been using computers for 20 years and this is the best PC I have ever owned.

Physically very small, very quiet, very cheap, runs well and has coped very well with everything a small business can throw at it. Impressed.

This suited my needs really well and Amazon dispatched quickly. Easy enough to get going and Acer have a nice touch to include 4 disks on to which you can burn recovery disks. Perhaps most computer manufacturers do this these days ?

HDMI port is a nice feature which have already tried out. I bought this particular model and it compared well against nominal equivalents at places like PC WORLD or STAPLES as it had quite a powerful processor based on benchmarks I looked for. It was very keenly priced and that swung the balance fully

There are actually 8 USB ports on the machine I received, rather than the four specified, six at the rear and two on the front so plenty of connectivity.
HDMI output is provided in additiona to standard VGA.
Headphone/ speaker and mic jacks are duplicated in the front. Line in is rear only.
As per description an other post(s) there is no wireless but all those USB ports allow for a dongle.
PCI riser connectivity looks restricted but to be honest most of what I have on the machine I'm replacing are made redundant by the 8 USB's already available.
Delivery was very prompt; i.e. next working day.
Price is a bargain for the specification.
Set up is child's play so if it's a techical challenge you're after then you'll be dissapointed. Mine simply booted at first switch on, detected a first set up, asked a few questions and away it went.
It came with a 60 day McAffee AV so no worries connecting to the web pending the use of my favoured free AV.
Four blank DVD's are provided for you to create your own Windows recovery discs and loaded Apps & drivers back up. The Acer App directs you through this and once again, it's child's play.

It's day one so I have no history to report in respect of reliability but right now it boots quickly. I'll have to see how it behaves when I start loading the umpteen Apps I have.

I'm very impressed right now!

I have set up this new computer from Amazon in my lounge where there is a BT phone socket.I have an ethernet cable connection to my home hub.The computer is up and running within minutes.I could not download backup discs,it stopped at verification stage with an error number which means absolutely nothing to me.So no backup discs.I bought this computer for my office next door but there does not appear to be a wireless connection inbuilt. It would not work with my USB wireless adapter.Easier to get up and running than my previous EL1850 computer which I bought last year and required input at a PC shop costing £50 to get going.
This is a good basic processor for everyday computing.
